        It was Sir Thomas Browne who has first used the expression. It means you should take care of your family and other people who live close to you before helping people who are living further away or in another country........

  Charity means a willingness to help others. Helping those who are really in need. People are reluctant to help others. They care for themselves or their nearest and dearest... They are selfish people who don't know what charity is. 

There are others who spend huge sums of money on charitable organizations but pay no attention to their poor relatives or near ones. They want to impress others by donating large sums,,, but have no heart for those who really suffer...This is selfishness.

"Charity begins at home"  is the famous phrase that completely suits those people who have forgotten the real-life preferences in their life like family, close relatives, society, community, or their own country. They just help or donate money to others while their family members need them first; in fact, completely depended on them. 

The word 'charity means showing love and care to someone. We should take care of our family, friends, and relatives first, fulfill their needs and later worry about helping others. 

Charity is a work of saintly. If we can somehow help the needy and poor, then it must be done. 

But, it has often seen that people jump to help others even though when they know that their family needs more than others. 

A truly charitable person should help those who are actually in need. He/She should be willing to help a needy man whether is a relative or not. 

Hence, the proverb "Charity begins at home" conclude that shower kindness and affection to strangers only after accomplishing the need of your family and relatives. 

Such a person can love and sympathize with all those who deserve it.𝙊𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙗𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚...............
